It's nice to meet you! I'm thrilled you are here! While I have always been a creative at heart, my true love of photography began whenever I became a mom. During my first pregnancy, I bought my first DSLR camera to satisfy my overwhelming desire to photograph each and every moment of my oldest son, as I knew he would change in the blink of an eye. Now, over 10 years later, I understand how fleeting time is and how important it is to capture all of life's moments.
My passion is to document your family's special joyful moments to create timeless memories you'll cherish forever. Your family's images are guaranteed to become more special and precious with time. As part of our experience together, I will help you decide the best way for your family to enjoy your images, whether in the form of wall art, tabletop prints, or albums you can enjoy browsing while snuggling your littles on the sofa. I wish I could freeze time, but since I can't, I would love to capture and preserve your special moments before they are gone.

Planning your session is very simple. I provide a wardrobe and style guide and help you choose the best location for your session so that your vision comes to life. I offer both digital and printed artwork, as well as custom framed products and fine art albums. Your job is to have fun, whether it's snuggling your new baby, chasing your toddler, or hanging out and enjoying quality family time with your teenager; leave the rest to me!
my approach
Kid are active and unpredictable, am I right?! That's why I make my sessions fun and engaging. Gone are the days of "everyone smile at the camera" for a solid hour. My goal is to make your family session stress-free and relaxing so that you look back on our session together with fond memories. Of course we will capture some posed images along with sweet, snuggly, and playful candid images. The heartfelt, unposed moments are the ones you will hold near and dear to your heart as you look back on our session together.

I have both a BS and MS in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I believe it is my experience as a 1st grade teacher that enables me to make my sessions fun, playful, and stress-free. I've been told multiple times that I have the gift of putting everyone at ease, whether it's making sessions playful or playing with older sibling toddlers during newborn sessions.
Being in front of the camera can be an unnerving and daunting idea for many people, and I am committed to making everyone comfortable so that they leave my sessions thinking "Hey, that was actually a lot of fun!" and looking forward to future sessions together.
