Birmingham Children’s Heirloom Portraits are classic, traditional pieces of art that have been around for generations. As a children’s heirloom photographer in Birmingham, AL, I love the timeless nature of this style of photography. I know you hear it all the time, but babies don’t keep. Neither do toddlers or children. What does keep, though, are the photographs you take of your children to celebrate all of their special milestones along the way.
These 15-20 minute portrait sessions take place in my natural light-filled home studio space conveniently located in Mountain Brook, AL close to downtown Birmingham and the Summit. During your child’s session, I will capture their beautiful heirloom portraits in both color and black and white. While each child has his/her own session time, I am more than happy to capture photos of your children together. Many moms will also tell you I love to have moms hop in for these heirloom portrait sessions.
After the session, I will hand-edit every tiny detail of your child’s best images. Then, I will talk you through image selection based on what you’d like to do with your child’s portraits. Whether you envision tabletop prints, framed wall art, hand-soldered ornaments, or heirloom portrait albums, I have you covered!
I offer a simple a-la-carte pricing structure so that you are able to purchase exactly what you’d like to purchase after your session. You can choose from one of my popular package options already available, or we can customize a package that best fits your needs. Printed on archival acid-free museum-grade paper, your fine art prints come with a lifetime guarantee against fading or yellowing. I am proud to also offer custom framing to my clients. All custom framed portraits arrive sealed with acid-free backing paper, with hanging hardware already attached. My goal is for you to display these timeless images in your home, gift them to grandparents, and pass them down to your children one day.
